Nutroots – Banning Clinton Supporters

And the fratricide intensifies between the kooks and the kookier:

Remember the progressive blogs?  RIP.

One by one, they’re starting to ban pro Hillary commenters.

You can curse.  You can spam.  You can make the vilest, most slanderous charges without proof.

But, if you post favorable comments about Hillary?  anti Obama comments?  You’re out of there!

U. S. Senator DeMint Is Mad As Heck

Protesting the Marines is just a predictable by-product of the massive Bush Derangement Syndrome that exists in this God-Forsaken city. But they took it a step further and not only denounced the US Military but then wholly endorsed and even subsidized Code Pink.

WASHINGTON – U.S. Sen. Jim DeMint, R-S.C., says the City of Berkeley, Calif., no longer deserves federal money
DeMint was angered after learning that the Berkeley City Council voted this week to tell the U.S. Marine Corps to remove its recruiting station from the city’s downtown.
“This is a slap in the face to all brave service men and women and their families,” DeMint said in a prepared statement. “The First Amendment gives the City of Berkeley the right to be idiotic, but from now on they should do it with their own money.”
“If the city can’t show respect for the Marines that have fought, bled and died for their freedom, Berkeley should not be receiving special taxpayer-funded handouts,” he added.
I don’t know if the following quote is true but it has been attributed to General Tommy Franks:
“When you men get home and face an anti-war protester, look him in the eyes and shake his hand. Then, wink at his girlfriend, because she knows she’s dating a pussy.”

Senate Moves Forward on Telecom Immunity

The trial lawyers continue to weep at the lost fees they would get from suing these companies into bankruptcy. Which is why the Democrats are trying to prevent immunity from happening of course.

All the lectures on civil rights from Chris Dodd, Hillary Clinton, and Barack Obama came to nothing yesterday when the Senate considered immunity for telecommunications companies which cooperated with the terrorist surveillance program. All the Republicans and 12 Democrats voted to reject an attempt to drop immunity from the bill. It’s as if no one cares about the children anymore.

War is Unpopular, but America Wants to Win

I want every single soldier, sailor, airman and Marine home and safe. But if we run away now we will be fighting these jerks forever.

I’m war-weary. Not as a soldier is, good heavens, no. But tired of being a nation At War, and doubly sick and tired of defending that notion against leftist dolts—I mean that with all venom and fury—who refuse to acknowledge the simple fact that 7th century barbarians want to annihilate us and will do so IF given the chance
I hate it, I’m tired of war, hate the casualties and want peace for the Iraqis. Most Americans probably do feel the same—hence the unpopular status of the war. But that does not and never has meant we want to lose it!
The war is unpopular because war sucks and we want the damned thing to end with the United States VICTORIOUS. Only blisteringly stupid far left liberals really believe their own moronically idiotic stereotype that conservative knuckledraggers want the war to go on forever because we like the taste of blood.
The only ones who are going to lose, now, are the liberals, Democrat office-holders and Big Media
