At least some in Australia are starting to figure out that the GW fanatics are talking about sending everybody back to the stone age:
Under the IPCC’s proposed solutions to climate change, cuts could double electricity prices and speed the introduction of nuclear power in Australia. But the report will warn that up to 75per cent of increases in greenhouse gases by 2030 will be driven by economic growth in developing countries, such as India and China, which have not signed the Kyoto Protocol.
Emphasis there is mine. In other words, if every Australian source of carbon dioxide were 100% stopped (well, except for the people who breathe it out), there would still be more carbon dioxide emitted in 2030. And do you think India and China are going to just go along with hamstringing their economies?
And note the snide comment about nuclear energy. The greens want to ignore the one source of energy that doesn’t emit any carbon dioxide because it is nooocleeeeear! They don’t want to burn coal or wood or natural gas or oil or anything, but they sure as heck don’t want anybody to get any of that glow-in-the-dark nuclear power either.
