Stop Girl From Being Tied Up and Beaten – and Now Fired From Job

So let’s run a little simulation.  You are the lunch lady at an elementary school.  You are going through the yard of said school and find 4 boys have tied a girls hands and feet and are whipping her with a jump rope.  You stop them, untie the girl, report the kids to the principal.

To my mind that’s pretty heroic.  Whether its a girl or a boy being beaten with a rope it might be a good thing.

Then later that week you see the girl’s parents in the local grocery store and you tell them you were so sorry that the incident had happened.  Unfortunately it turns out that the school authorities are lying pigs and they hadn’t informed the parents about what actually happened.  It was a “jump rope incident” and the terrified girl hadn’t told her parents the whole truth (maybe because she was intimidated by the authorities?).  The parents are rightly outraged at not being told just how serious an incident this is and they go to the pusillanimous  dirtbags at the school to ask what had happened and why they were lied to.

And the only action that the school administation takes is to FIRE YOU!

Sound impossible – not in what used to be Great Britain.

When staff at Great Tey Primary School, near Colchester in Essex, discovered what she had done, she was accused of breaching pupil confidentiality and suspended.

Thought Crimes Bill Advances

The inability of lawmakers to understand the constitution, equal treatment before the law, double jeopardy, and individual liberty is stunning. In some ways it prevents me from believing that American as currently constituted can endure.
clipped from www.realclearpolitics.com
The Local Law Enforcement Hate Crimes Prevention Act passed in a 249-175 vote (17 Republicans joined with 231 Democrats). These Democrats should have been tested on their knowledge of the First Amendment, equal protection of the laws (14th Amendment), and the prohibition of double jeopardy (no American can be prosecuted twice for the same crime or offense). If they had been, they would have known that this proposal, now headed for a Senate vote, violates all these constitutional provisions.
Whether you’re a Republican or Democrat, think hard about what Corry adds: “A government powerful enough to pick and choose which thoughts to prosecute is a government too powerful.”
Remember, however, as Kathleen Gilbert notes (LifeSiteNews.com) that “free speech advocates have pointed out that under current U.S. law, any action that ‘abets, counsels, commands (or) induces a perceived ‘hate crime’ shares in the guilt of that crime and is therefore punishable.”

Is Freedom Still Worth Fighting For?

“If we wish to be free; if we mean to preserve inviolate those inestimable privileges for which we have been so long contending; if we mean not basely to abandon the noble struggle in which we have been so long engaged, and which we have pledged ourselves never to abandon until the glorious object of our contest shall be obtained–we must fight! I repeat it, sir, we must fight! An appeal to arms, and to the God of hosts, is all that is left us.” –Patrick Henry, 1775

“There is an option still left to the United States of America, that it is in their choice and depends upon their conduct, whether they will be respectable and prosperous or contemptible and miserable as a Nation.” — George Washington

Rare Democrat Candor – But It Is John Kerry

In his comments today urging his fellow Senators to waste $1 trillion of your money, John Kerry*  made the following slip:

I’ve supported many tax cuts over the years, and there are tax cuts in this proposal. But a tax cut is non-targeted.

If you put a tax cut into the hands of a business or family, there’s no guarantee that they’re going to invest that or invest it in America.

They’re free to go invest anywhere that they want if they choose to invest.

It is rare that Democrats actually come out against freedom in actual words – although  every action they take is to limit dangerous things like personal liberty.

We all know from his failed Presidential campaign that John Kerry is an elitist snob who tends to marry money (big fracking gobs of it), so he is obviously much more qualified than any American family to spend their money wisely.  After all, he got elected Senator didn’t he?  Doesn’t that confer upon him Olympian powers of wisdom?

* John Kerry may or may not have been in Cambodia, but he did serve in Vietnam before throwing some kind of medals over the fence of the White House.
