Just how much better could your life be if you were grateful for what you had?
| We live in an age where a person with a $20,000 truck in the driveway of his $150,000 house, eats a steak, surfs the net on his computer, and then sits down and curses at the politician he sees on his 50 inch Plasma screen TV because he thinks that the pol isn’t doing enough to make his life better. |

Senator Amnesty is back at it. Yet another reason why he won’t ever be getting my vote.
| In an interview on ABC News’s Nightline, Hernandez stated bluntly that he was betting that the Mexican American population in the United States –all generations– “will think Mexico first…”I want ‘em all to think Mexico first.” Here’s the audio clip from Nightline, June 7th 2001: |
| Now, incredibly, Juan Hernandez is GOP presidential candidate John McCain’s Hispanic Outreach Director. |
| Next stop for his friend Juan Hernandez: DHS Secretary? |

The trial lawyers continue to weep at the lost fees they would get from suing these companies into bankruptcy. Which is why the Democrats are trying to prevent immunity from happening of course.

This schmuck says he’s going to the south of France to get some sun and get away from all the negative publicity.I wish the judge had sentenced him to go with this Marine to Iraq and carry his kit for his tour. He’d get some fracking sun then.
|
Jay Grodner, the Chicago lawyer who keyed a Marine’s car in anger because the car had military plates and a Marine insignia, finally got his day in court last week.
|
|
Grodner pleaded guilty in a Chicago courtroom packed with former Marines. Some had Marine pins on their coats, or baseball jackets with the Marine insignia. They didn’t yellor call him names. They came to support Marine Sgt. Michael McNulty, whose car Grodner defaced in December, but who couldn’t attend because he’s preparing for his second tour in Iraq.
|
|
So Grodner received a $600 fine, which will go to a Marine charity, 30 hours of community service and a year of court supervision. If he doesn’t pay up in a month, the judge promised to put him in jail for a year.

Probably caused by man-made global warming. They have SUV’s on Jupiter, right?
Internal Heat Drives Giant Storm Eruption |

An image of Jupiter in visible-light |
The team monitored the new eruption of cloud activity and its evolution with an
unprecedented resolution using NASA’s Hubble Space Telescope, the NASA Infrared
Telescope Facility in Hawaii, and telescopes in the Canary Islands (Spain). A network
of smaller telescopes around the world also supported these observations. |
the bright plumes were storm systems triggered in Jupiter’s deep water clouds that moved upward in the atmosphere vigorously and injected a fresh mixture of ammonia ice and water about 20 miles (30 kilometers) above the visible clouds.
The storms moved in the peak of a jet stream in Jupiter’s atmosphere at 375 miles per hour (600 kilometers per hour). Models of the disturbance indicate that the jet stream extends deep in the buried atmosphere of Jupiter, more than 60 miles (approximately100 kilometers) below the cloud tops where most sunlight is absorbed. |
