Let’s Tell Mexico Everything

Here’s just how insane thing are on our borders:

According to three documents on the Mexican Secretary of Foreign Relations Web site, the U.S. Border Patrol is to notify the Mexican government as to the location of Minutemen and other civilian border patrol groups when they participate in apprehending illegal immigrants — and if and when violence is used against border crossers.

A U.S. Customs and Border Protection spokesman confirmed the notification process, describing it as a standard procedure meant to reassure the Mexican government that migrants’ rights are being observed.

Just what rights do people have when they are trying to cross into this country illegally? The right, perhaps, for a quick kick in the tush and a short ride back to the border? Arrest for any illegal drugs they are smggling in?

And what about the the rights of the Minutemen and others who are simply observing the border? If our government was giving personal information on US citizens to Iraq, the American Criminal Liberties Union would be pitching a hissy fit! But when your own President calls people vigilantes for insisting that we enforce our own borders, its just fine to shop them to a foreign government.

I am not going to refuse to vote Republican (as many of the quotes on Michelle Malkin’s site indicate). Too much of this idiocy has been going on for too many years to make it simply a Bush Administration problem. This obviously has been going on for a long time. But I am sending back every one of the Republican solicitations for money that I get (and I do get a lot) with this:

Update: Rush just mentioned this on today’s show. Said the Border Patrol is denying it, but that seem ridiculous when the Mexicans are displaying the information on their own website.
