I too, am a happy conservative living in Monument (precinct 74). I would second the second reply about supporting Ron Paul. He is a TRUE CONSERVATIVE, not a neo-con as are many of the other candidates. He would put this country back on it's original track as specified in the constitution. He has been consistent. I would be happy to forward to you some position papers that he has on the issues. He has also written a book. Thank you again for this site. I am a proud American, as most of our country is, however, I am not proud of the way our government is representing the majority of America. I want to change this, with the help of our Governor, Bill Ritter. I am tired of complaining of what I do not approve of and not hearing/seeing the voice of the majority of our people. I no longer want to sit and do nothing. I want to become active and begin changing things. I have a husband in the United States Air Force(1 tour in Iraq), a brother in the United States Marines(deploying to Iraq in 19Sept2007) and a step brother in the Army(deploying to Iraq in October). My husband and I have been blessed with 2 daughters and I fear the things that their generation and the generations that will follow will confront. We need to start acting and not talking. I understand you might think I'm just another crazy "hippie". I AM NOT. I AM, though, an average Christian, American, Mother, Wife, Sister, Aunt, Granddaughter. Please schedule a meeting with me.
